It's my birthday!

It is my birthday! As of five minutes ago... I am 29 baby! :)

And a very happy Chrismahanukwanzakah it was...

Well, it's been a year in the making, but the first annual Chrismahanukwanzakah party came off without a hitch, and a very good time was had by all. Thanks so much to everyone who came to celebrate with us and for sharing a piece of your holiday. Joe, I won't soon forget the "horny chicken" :) And the Latkes, egg nog, and cajun food were in abundance. As was the wine! hehe I have posted a couple pics below... Sorry they are a little dark, I forgot my camera and took them with my phone. There will be more later, Jason had his camera. Thanks again and Happy Holidays!

Clark Griswold, stay away from me!!!!

Ok, so I got motivated and Christmased-up my apartment tonight. I got a little tree, and put up the lights and knick knacks... In the process, I managed to break the antenna off my stereo (while moving to make room for the tree) got sap all over my hands, tree dirt and water all over the floor, broke two bulbs by stepping on them (new lights too)... spilled my glass of water all over the computer desk, then almost chipped my tooth taking a drink, couldn't figure out why the electrical outlet wouldn't work (still can't... must be busted) and then to cap it allllll off, I just about electrocuted myself. I did not notice the broken bulb near the fingers on the hand not hanging lights, and my finger went right in the LIVE socket. OUCH!

But hey, what's a little electricity through the body when you have Christmas spirit? I just got to look out for a party-crashing Randy Quaid. No Chrismanhanukwanzakah latkes and ham for him! hehe

Hallelujah, holy sheet. Where's the tylenol?
